Dr Collins in San Francisco. Squeezed my prostate so well 17 years ago he improved my symptoms massively. Might be retired now not sure.

How about the fella in Greece? I am in the UK. Would I be better going to Mr Shah or the recommended doctor in Greece?

Hi, nice post. Since there is no cure for this condition no matter where or who you go in the US or any where for that matter in the world as many just want to write you a prescription of an antibiotic to just have you leave with the feeling that your being helped regardless of whether you have an infection/ bacteria and get you out of their hair sought of speak. We have many and valid questions and they have no valid answers as your guess is as good as theirs and theirs is as good as yours.

There is a Dr that though i have been seeing for 10 years and one that takes the time to help you as best as he can with what he has to work with.He is compassionate and understanding , very genuine and friendly and unlike most not a PILL Pusher! Very professional and through.
His name is Dr Scott G. Hubosky
Jefferson Urology.
833 Chestnut Street Suite 703
Philadelphia, Pa
Tel# 215 955-1000

Hope this proves to be of some help to the folks out there.

Gary

Does anyone have a very good Urologist to help work through bacterial prostatitis and epididymitis? I am specifically on the North side of Dallas but would travel for a good doctor that performs all of the tests.
Thank you

This is a very useful thread. As someone who has had prostatitis for the last 18 months, I can say that most urologists don't like dealing with prostatitis. And even fewer like doing prostate massages. Prostate massage has been one of the mainstays of any prostatitis treatment, and it is disappointing to see that such a small number of urologists know how to do a proper prostate massage.

For anyone in the Los Angeles area, look up Dr Scott Zeitlin and Dr Philip Werthman. They both do prostate massages combined with antibiotics and other therapies.

To whom it may concern,

Here is a Dr i have been using for the past 10+ years. He is very profession, through and friendly with a very approachable nature and will take the time to answer any questions and concerns you have. Sincere there is no cure for Chronic Prostatitis no matter where and who you go to this Dr will however take all the necessary steps with all types of tests to rule out anything serious going on and treat you to the best of his ability and knowledge that is out there if you have a problem like an infection/ bacteria and also is very good at treating kidney stones. Like i say there is no magic bullet but this Dr has treated me in the past and still does if i have an infection/ bacteria going on with the proper medication and is NOT one to just prescribe antibiotics if there is no evidence of infection/ bacteria just for the the sake of it.

His name is Dr Scott G. Hubosky
833 Chestnut Street,Suite 703
Philadelphia, Pa
Tel # 215 955-1000

If anyone needs any help or information send me an email and will galdy help as best as i can.

Gary

I tried Dr. Ilia Kaploun in Toronto, Canada. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to detect several bacterial infections, but multiple courses of anti-bios with limited prostate massage ultimately did nothing for me. I'm at wits end.

Hello friends. Sorry for my English language, I`m from Russia.
I am suffering since 13 years old. Now i am 24 yo. I suffer every day. I think about suicide every day. I visited many doctors of different specialties, from psychiatrist to proctologist. I passed many analyzes but they are very good. I am from Saint-Petersburg, I can`t recover. I am not helped any medications. I tried to find any specialists which can do pelvic floor therapy but i wasn`t able to make it. I want to go to Europe or USA but USA is very expensive for me. Please give me advice , where can i find pelvic floor specialists in Eastern Europe? :?:
