Post prostatitis since March, 2016- does anyone have rectal pain?
I've had a variety of symptoms since March. It started with urgency (like I had to go pee every few minutes). That got better with RX. Then I had a pain in the tip of my penis that lasted for about 5-6 weeks. Sometimes now I have testicle pain and lately I've had an itchy feeling in my rectum. Sometimes it hurts to walk and sit. It's not horrible, maybe a 3 on a scale of 1-10 (10= terrible). Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this and if they had any suggestions.

Thanks!

Had rectal pain too.
Still have it but now it's really really mild compared to what it used to be.
The only thing I could find against that is walk/run for a long time 20+min

I've had pain there from time to time as well. I think mine's probably a combo of food allergies and possible fissure though. If I am constipated, the prostate inflammation seems to get worse.

Hey, once i began the sulpha i got constipated and had some fresh blood in stool. After few days i could feel swelling..sure enough internal hemerroids. Doctor said try anusol which does help. I get flare up where it feels uncomfortbale...not sure if that is same as what you are experiencing.

I do have some rectal pain during bowel movement even during those days when my stools are soft. Rectal pain is somehow connected CP\CPPS. My recent ultrasound showed prostate is now normal after a month of Bactrim but I continue to experience rectal pain. I am suspecting it is due to pelvic muscle floor dysfunction. next thing i'm going to do is to see a physical therapist. I will post my update once it's done.

My symptoms:

2 days after protected sex.

1. pain and tingling on penis
2. pain in pelvic region
3. shooting pain into inner thighs
4. urgency to unination

Now using Rapaflo. No mastrubation or sex for 13 days. Only urgency to urniation still persists . Reest of the symptoms subsided quite well.

No STD's. I am thinking pelvic floor dysfunction could be the cause
