Post Ask Dr. Arnon Krongrad M.D. About Surgery for Prostatitis
Dr. Krongrad recently published a paper Laparoscopic Prostatectomy for Severely Symptomatic,
Treatment-Refractory Chronic Prostatitis: Preliminary Observations from an Ongoing Phase II Clinical Trial
.

We invited him to participate here on our forum. So simply reply and ask Dr. Krongrad questions and hopefully he will have time to answer them. Here is a paragraph about his work: "In 1999, the Krongrad Institute introduced minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery as a treatment for prostate cancer. We have recently discovered that laparoscopic prostate removal can also be effective for severe, treatment-resistant, chronic prostatitis. You can review prostatitis treatments and our findings in Laparoscopic Prostatectomy for Severely Symptomatic, Treatment-Refractory Chronic Prostatitis: Preliminary Observations from an Ongoing Phase II Clinical Trial."

If you Google this phrase:

Treatment-Refractory Chronic Prostatitis: Preliminary Observations from an Ongoing Phase II Clinical Trial

It will take you to UroToday.com where you can read Dr. Krongrad's abstract. And if you go to the second link that comes up under Google at: prostatitissurgery.com

It will give you the entire paper as a PDF document.
