 Flomax seems to help
New uro recommended Flomax. started this 5 weeks ago, while on Cipro for 3 weeks. Stopped the cipro and have continued with Flomax and have weened down to taking it 2 or 3 times a week. Uro says Flomax relaxes the muscles in the pelvis around the prostate as well a relaxing the prostate itself. urine frequency has not changed and my flow was always good so its no better or no worse.

 Re: Flomax seems to help
I was always told it relaxes muscles in the bladder and prostate. Interesting you've been given it when your flow is good. It's only use is to increase flow, but if you're feeling better taking it that's all that counts. I was on it for years but side effects increased over time and had to stop.
