Hi guys, had bacteria prostatitis in 2016（after unprotected sex with this grilfriend, treated in 2018(Cipro ,Moxi and bactirm for 6weeks each), pretty much better, well not 100%but like 95% better almost don't feel any symptoms at all.

recently in July 2020 had a relapse, symptoms were worse but still the same infection bacteria(haven't had sex after this girlfriend,so must be the same pathogen). taking Moxi again for 25 days now, noticed this pain each time after I took the pills, if I take the pills at 1130am, pain starts around 12, if i take it around 2:30 pm, pain starts at 3 pm


I'm sure the pain and urgency to urine is from after taking the pill, when i first treat it in 2018, i don't have this feel.


does anyone know anything about this situation ? but i am getting better in turn of symptoms, much better than when this relapse happens in July


is it that I am getting drug resistance? or simply the antibiotics just doing it's job-killing the bacteria so i had this pain feeling? (pain level is i would rate it noticeable, somewhat uncomfortable but bearable )

please if anyone have any ideas or can share their experience about this?

I have similar horrific pain from a mycin antibiotic. maybe it's resistance or other bacterial viral response?

do a semen prostate fluid culture to get sensitivity

With my case, I've done prostate fluid test no less than 8 times and all were negative, only seen once it was G+ve bacilli, can't culture,

semen , prostate fluid, and urine came back all negative for all STD, only shows white blood cells and red blood cells just exceeded the normal range.

With your Pain from Mycin Antibiotics, did the drug helps suppress/reduce any of your symptoms?
