Post How TURP removed calcifications, bacteria and cured me
Hey fellow sufferers.

I believe that I have a story to tell. Despite being only 32 years of age, I underwent several episodes of bacterial prostatitis, each becoming harder to cure. Just like many others here, the situation was complicated by calcifications and damage to the seminal vesicle.

I just came back from a year of hell, where a portion of my prostate got so obstructed that no antibiotics were able to penetrate sufficently until basicially nothing touched this disease.

Just like many of you, I started touring urologists all around my country and the whole world, until one of them provided a simple solution to it - completely removing the obstructed and diseased part, along with the calcifications and other altered tissue that we associate with bacterial prostatitis.

Keep in mind that most of the urologists gave me a diagnosis of non-bacterial prostatitis just to send me home. I even started suffering pelvic floor disorder, with pelvic muscles hurting quite lot, until I switched to a more efficent antibiotic.

At many points during the last year, I became so sick that I admitted myself to emergency care no less than 5 times, without getting any help whatsoever.

Today, I am free of disease, medications and I do not even have any side effects from the TURP that I know of. I am mostly painless and everything down there functions properly.

For those who wish to read my full story along with my opinion on treatments that worked and those that did not, I present the story here xxxx

If there is something on the site missing out, feel free to ask me anything.

ADMIN NOTE: At his point in time, I can not allow a link to your site by orders of the board.

HOWEVER... If anyone would like to see this posters site, please send him a private message.

I saw nothing wrong with the site, but if I started allowing one site in, this place would be flooded with
nothing but links to private sites... which is not what the founders wanted.

Read all of your web site. This seems like the most logical solution for all of us suffering with calcifications, which possibly help form abscesses.

Of course it has its risks, but when you deal with this for years, decades, what do you have to lose at this point.

All I can say is that I would had done it earlier, had I known what a piece of cake it was.

Most urologists discourage from surgery and talk about it like something extremely invasive. On the other hand, those urologist never offer us any other solution and just send us home to suffer.

Sure, an unexperienced surgeon could possibly cause some damage but that should also be weighted to the risks from a untreated infection, which not only are limited to increased risk of BPH/cancer but even death from bacterial prostatitis is described in litterature, following endocarditis or bacteria finding their way to the bloodstream.

It is still amazing how I was diagnosed with a "mysterious, poorly understood" disease with "no further treatment options but painkillers" by several dozens of doctors, while it took 10 minutes for another doctor to find out what was wrong and then it took him another 60 minutes to provide a permanent cure.

Can you explain how you were actually diagnosed with bacterial prostatitis? What bacteria? How did they confirm a bacterial infection was causing your pain? Were you responsive to antibiotics early on? How did they confirm you had calcififcations (Assuming a scan of some sort)? Who did your TURP?

First of all, I was responsive to antibiotics most of the time, but there would be periods where the antibiotics stopped working and I had to replace them with other ones. I tested positive for staphylococcus aureus once, e. coli twice and enterococcus faecalis once.

I have no idea how all that ended up with me, or if they were all pathogenic or contamination from urethra, skin, my fingers, someone elses fingers or whatever. But given how I had to rotate antibiotics alot, it is likely that there were at least two pathogens present.

Furthermore, the prostatic abscess is a strong indication of a bacterial infection. Calcifications have been present with me since 10 years back, and it was possible but harder to clear earlier infections from them.

To some urologists, it was very clear that this was indeed a bacterial infection. To the vast majority of them, it was a mysterious disease that modern science does not understand and that the only treatment option is alphablockers, which by the way did nothing at all.

Goran
Have you done a Semen analysis since the procedure to see if the sperm left in the ejaculation are still motile enough to have kids?
