Pudendal neuralgia I suggest you read
Hi all
So I’ve been down the prostatitis pathway like all of you have. Drugs, massage, prostate massage, internal pt, multiple eps + urine tests.. I had a few good months and I thought I was ok. It came back. So what common things are there in my episodes. Stress, over working, and gym. I was doing squats and sit-ups and push ups etc. my back couldn’t handle it. With internal pt. The therapist found god knows how many tender spots. I can sleep fine. I wake up feeling ok. After driving to work my penis hurts, my legs and feet burn, my bladder is sore, my gootch hurts., so I read and read and now wonder if I may have a form of Pudendal neuralgia. Google it. I can lay down and my symptoms go, lay on the wrong side and they flare up . Antibiotics and ibuprofen work because they give anti inflammatory effects . My gut feel is that for me it’s muscular. For those of you how have affairs I think that guilt might also be a driver for stress .
My dr is going to refer me for a nerve block test and it will be interesting to see what that shows. Maybe nothing . PN is rarely considered but it’s a bigger problem than we think. Females go through the same issues with pelvic pain, often thought to be endometriosis or other internal issues when for some it was inflammation and PN.
Worth considering . Google whria. A specialist in Australia documents male symptoms .

Re: Pudendal neuralgia I suggest you read
It’s possible but it’s very rare from my research
I’ve had 2 nerve blocks a pudendal and a ganglion impar block, didn’t help but that’s me
In my opinion it’s a muscle issue
I found a Facebook Group that uses online video to guide you through a specific type of exercise routine for pelvic pain. It focuses on strengthening and lengthening the pelvic floor. I’m going to try it there is a fee but it’s cheaper than visiting physios
