Post Well it’s do or...
took triple my dose of hydromorphone

ended up in hospital, no big deal just a lack of
respiration

Have not eaten in 4 days so that made symptoms worse

Have a 3 inch gash on my forehead because 5 days ago
when I visited the throne, the pain caused me to pass out and I smashed
my forehead on the bathroom floor

Anyways I know this is a prostate board but FYI my
“prostatitis” has developed into anal stenosis

Don’t google it

I wish they would have let me expire

Race, I'm sorry to hear that, praying for you man. Gotta be something that can be done.

thank you inflamed

The specialist I just saw smiled and said I’m sorry you’re
suffering and I have little to offer you

I’m doing my own research my plan is to focus on
meditation and pelvic yoga with a one on one therapist

All the drugs are useless and have made my pain centre even
more sensitive to pain

Just a warning:

do not take opiates. I’m addicted to morphine and in pain. Your
body eats it like candy and you get used to it very very fast
Now I’m looking at detox because I will get extremely ill if I stop
On my own.

Best of luck race with the opiates race. No real advice that you haven’t heard a thousand times before but breaking that addiction is something you need to make a priority. As for what comes after I’ve no idea. There doesn’t seem to be any help at all or 1 new bit of research that in my opinion is going to be worth getting excited about. It gets better or it doesn’t in my experience. Had a great few months this summer. Felt as good as I’ve felt in years. Woke up a few days ago and the pain was back. So from great to miserable again with no warning. That’s just how this goes for some of us. Hang in there.

Madcap:

damn I’m sorry to hear it. Yup some of us are prone to
it and it’s literally inexplicable. Doctors don’t understand
it but they try...even the pain clinic really has no clue
and in my opinion....nerve blocks are literally a hunt and
peck mission. I’ve had 3 now and no relief.

I believe I’ve spent around $10,000.00 CDN dollars
chasing this evil

Yes I’m I have a huge issue with the opiates and frankly
I’m scared. I saw a friend of my sister who is chronically
I’ll go through withdrawal from opiates. Scary and sad

I don’t know what’s gonna happen but I know that my body
is immune and all I do is chase the pain with minimal relief

Hi Race

I've been away for awhile...back to the club.

You should check out Jordan Peterson on youtube. Canadian Psychologist. He has some good videos about how to handle the struggles of life. His videos have helped me immensely.
