Post Turp for prostatitis
Can anyone thats had a turp for prostatitis give me their input on how it turned out after everything settled down. I'm considering getting it done for the chronic pain and sickness.

I had it done in August of 2016

Developed blood clots 10 days after the initial surgery so
had to have a second surgery to remove the clots

Following surgery you will have a catheter with irrigation, not very pleasant

Took me along time for things to settle. Initially I had terrible spasm in the bladder
after every pee, was terrible and lasted for months.

Overall it helped me but I have a more complex pelvic issue
now that is unresolved.

Make sure your Urologist is very experienced
