This is a reminder.

If you have chronic pain, you are doing something wrong. You are not supposed to numb the pain. You don't have a pain memory that needs to be erased with drugs.

No, something in your body is hurting, because there is a reason for it right now in this moment.

And you are able to deal with that.

Once you are pain free, and you will, sooner than you think, you will realize, that you did the right thing. And you will be proud of yourself, look back and think:

What an adventure.

Perhaps considering how your words affect others in posting that would've made it far less antagonistic and degrading. I know some people are lit up by the prospect of being told they're wrong when it isn't their fault, but there's a larger number of people who would most likely be harmed or in the least intimidated by what you posted.

It's genuinely difficult to comprehend exactly what is meant by it, if it's not a sarcastic endeavor to re-enlighten how badly health professionals and others have treated chronic pain patients.

It is meant as an empowering reminder. It leads you to not giving up on your life even if everything seems dark right now. It prevents you from making time-expensive mistakes.
How would you phrase it?
