Post Chronic Fatigue and Prostatitis?
I am starting to think there's a correlation between these two.

Does anyone have experience or opinions?

Thanks in anticipation gentlemen

I suspect it's probably some sort of low level depression that causes the fatigue. Chronic pain can also just wear on you, that's for sure.

Agreed, chronic pain wears you out. I find the worse my pain, the more fatigued I get. When it's really bad, I could sleep for 12 hrs a day. I suspect that would apply to any type of pain, not just CPPS.

Yeah, there's certainly correlation and causation. However, it may be fatigue follows from chronic pain and chronic pain follows from fatigue, not only in one causal direction. I think they've occurred for me at the same time. Yet I also have digestive issues, and metabolism has an impact on energy levels. Another factor to consider is air and water pollution. Though it's not easy to know exactly how much those are affecting.

For my case, the fatigue basically comes first and announces the pain/urinary symptoms that will come in a day or two, which are on the mild side. (The fatigue alone completely wrecks me though.)

So it's definitely not the pain causing fatigue for me. Inflammation is supposed to take a lot out of your immune system if I understood my doctors correctly.

Fatigue is due to mitochandria dysfunction. Take NAD+ precursor Tru Niagen.
It will normalize your mitochandria and other cell processes. It might also cure your prostate pain.
It cured mine in a few months.

Sex drive crash, exhaustion, YES! 100%. An infection in the Prostate is extremely draining! I'm not one to quote 'Eastern Medicine' philosophy, but your prostate is 'your core'. When your core is sick, it messes up your whole alignment.

the Bacterial Prostatitis, the lack of sex drive and exhaustion all come on at the same time.
