Post 21 and so Confused.
So, i'm a 21-year old guy and i've got a bunch of weird symptoms/issues that have plagued me ever since I was at least 13. I've been tested recently for diabetes/ STD's/ kidney function/ prostate health/ and have had urinalysis done in the last 6 months. All negative, nothing wrong. I've only recently wondered what's up, if anything, and i'm wondering whether to believe the urinologist/doctors or to get more opinions.

Symptoms:

-Frequent urge to urinate

-When i do pee from these urges, it's not much, i can count to five and be done, and my bladder doesn't feel full

-I'll pee up to 12 or so times a day

-Pressure/discomfort in lower abdomen, right above genitals

-Pressure/discomfort in testicles, gets worse when i hold my urine in

-Discomfort after bowel movement/ejaculation

I do not:

-Have blood in urine/semen

-Have pain with urination

-Have discharge from penis

-Have erectile dysfunction

-Have leaking/incontinence with urine

-Have trouble holding in my urine

I don't drink more than an average person, and if I go all day without drinking i'll still pee three or four times. That's about all I know to say. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi libretto,

Sounds like the kind of stuff I dealt with through my 20's and 30's.
Very similar in symptoms.
Was repeated diagnosed as prostatitis by GP.
All tests came back clear - nothing amiss.
Had yearly episodes of a few weeks to a couple of months in duration.
At that point antibiotics did nothing. Anti-inflammatories did help some.
Just sort of ran its course.
Not to be a bearer of bad news but at 43yrs old it started again.
This time it's worse. 19 months straight, including unabating pain and ED.
Now diagnosed with CPPS.
Won't kill me but sure makes life more difficult most days.

What helps me are hot baths, sitting on a heating pad.
Regular ejaculation and plenty of rest.
I avoid diet pop and sugars.
I drink one glass of red wine at night to the night trips to bathroom. Does work.
Dr has me on Tramadol for pain (helps but does not relieve completely )
Look up CPPS and you'll find lots.

Sorry. But know you're not alone.
