Post Friends Family
So just a simple question,

Who have you guys shared your condition with? Family, Friends, Coworkers?

Family, obviously we can't keep this from them.
I haven't mentioned it to anyone but my closest friend. Feel like this will definitely impact the social life.

Only my wife. Nobody else has any idea, it's pretty easy to keep from them - I just don't talk about it with them. Not like it's something you can see from the outside. Also has no impact on my social life.

Not much reason to discuss it with people. My wife obviously but outside of that I see no reason. Not like there’s any information a friend or family member could give me anyway. Besides the less time you spend thinking about it the better off you are.

Glad to hear you guys are living normal social lives. I'm not sure how to explain the frequent visits to bathroom, fatigue from lack of sleep and general malaise when I'm out.
I wasn't looking for answers from them, just thought maybe truth is the best route.
I guess it is an awkward topic to bring up.

My wife knows obviously. A colleague at work knows something is wrong as I take pain killers at work all the time. He knows too that I am seeing Urologists, but nothing specific.

HI, Only share with those that your close too and most of all trust and is not going to be judgemental. So my opinion is as someone who has always been more of the private type by choice just be careful with those that you spill the beans with on any topic and subject.

I've told family and friends. My closest family (Mom, Dad, brother) are supportive at times, but sometimes are harsh or insensitive or not knowledgeable / well-informed. Same with friends. However, what can they really say or do? That's where I'm at with it now.
