Depends. Prostatitis symptoms can be very difficult to eliminate and 2 days isn’t going to tell you much. Was never on that particular drug so have no experience with how it works but in general people spend weeks to months on antibiotics with various results. Although I’ve forgotten how long I was on them during my first bout it was somewhere between 6-9 months. That was over 20 yrs ago and Drs would never keep you on them that long now.

It was Bactrim. Can’t take it anymore because now I’m allergic to it. If you’re having problems with the drug you’re taking it’s safer to stop it and call the Dr. Ask for a different drug and explain the symptoms you’re having.

What do you mean by heart pounding? You can hear and feel your heart pounding more than normal? similar or same as an anxiety effect?

What vision problem are you having?

Are the muscle cramps unusual? or have you had them before you started the zyvox?
