Great job David, thanks for your advice. I'm going to try a Massage/deep tisue and re alignment. Ive nothing to loose from it. Damn hard to get away from the fact that this did occur around a epididmital infection though? But to be honest I'm giving up hope. Letter from urology consultant arrived today. " no significant abnormalities could be found" and he recommends a pain management plan of tablets and therapy......

Not the news I wanted. Sounds bad, but I did want him to find something at least then i could do something about it.

The pudendal nerve goes into the testicles so unless you proved positive for infection then inflammation could have been nerve related. Mine started the same way.

See that the Pudendal nerve goes down into the testicles.

This would explain your pain and inflammation.

David,

What's the process of getting the damn nerve taken out/ clipped/ nerve blocked etc? If it is what's causing my damn grief I'd happily loose sensation in me legs! Lol

Sciatica seems to be at the top left if my buttock and travels down both legs, causing severe weakness and inner thigh pains quite bad, burning feeling almost. Worse on sitting and laying.
As I'm typing I'm in grief, causes gastro problems too.

Again David I appreciate all your input, and of course I'm going to see a Chiropractor to see what they can do for me. I'm seeing the Rhumatologist soon, he will no doubt say I'm negative on all his tests, faeces/ hlab27 and FBC. But I'm going to mention what we have discussed.

Your nerves are fine. There is absolutely no need for surgery at all.

You've got tight muscles throughout your body that need to be worked on. Once relaxed your illnesses will likely resolve.

Stay calm. Be scientific and careful at this stage.

You need some serious massage into your neck (occipital area) and the rest of your body and then some re-alignment.

Get out there and start gathering diagnosis ideas

Sounds like your piraformis muscles are extremely tight. That's probably causing the sciatica.

Don't do anything drastic. It can all be undone without an invasive medicine (I.e surgery)

You could try seeing this guy in South London. He's someone who had been recommended to me.

I'd be interested to know what you think of him.

England, best of luck in solving this. You've been in pain for much to long. Keep us posted as to how you are.

I understand all this and i wish that my problem but i have a hard time to forget how it all started... Clearly an infection... Will still try it... David how can infection trigger nerve and muscle spasm?

Well you need a positive test to be sure it's an infection.

If you got one then I guess you could get some tension in the pelvic floor due to the pain coming from the prostate. You might also start sitting differently which could irritate the joints and muscles.

But I'd say most people probably didn't have an infection.

Yup I will do guys,

I'm starting a pain management treatment soon, the doctor thinks it will do me some good.

Problems I'm still having are post ejaculation left testicle pain / leg weakness / urethral discharge on bowel movements and bilateral inner thigh aches and pains ( burning bad at times) - i realy need to be patched up and on the mens soon....otherwise I'm going to loose my job and my home.

Thanks guys, all the best

I'd advise you to not wait even a week to get your body looked at.

The longer you leave it, the harder it's going to be to reverse it.

Pain management will mask some of the problem while you are getting worse.

Guys ive had two (2) prostatic massages done while I was under general anaesthetic. Both times I've felt relief for short periods after. Why is that??

Stimulating the nerve clusters there? I realy don't know how to do it, my girlfriend realy wants to help also, is anyone here experienced enough to give advice on how to go about doing massages? Internally and externally ? I'd realy appreciate any comments on it. Hot baths just aren't doing the business anymore.

Perhaps David is right, the nerves that travel down, could be stimulated by prostatic massage? Hence the temporary relief? All views on the massage would be seriously appreciated.

Hope everyone is doing ok, all my best England

England, there are prostate massage videos on YouTube. Haven't watched them but did a quick search and at least one explained how to do it. Hope it helps.

Mad, cheers mate. Il take a browse with me missus ( hardly inspirational Saturday night at the movies though :-) )

Going to start trying to get massages regular, I can't keep up the smiling and trying to act well, when if truth be known I'm actualy doubled up in testicle and inner thigh agony. Tbh sometimes I want to find a quiet dark place and just lay down. Grinding me down slowly, feel so blody ill.

Researching a few Chiropractor's around Aldershot, I'm going to give it a shot. I've decided to stop taking all these damn meds and just use anti inflammatories. All the others just zonk me out and do nothing anyway. Pain is constantly there.

Wish one day I can post a good update! All seems to be suffering and bad news is all I write.....

Cheers Mad/ thanks guys.

You need a top class therapist who will do trigger point release and remove scar tissue.

An ordinary masseur won't do much

Here's some examples of Trigger Point Massage so you know what you should be getting

Thanks David,

Hope you don't mind me asking, but who helped you? I'd travel just about anywhere - or a list of "quality" therapists if you have one?

I already added a physio I think you should see in a few posts above this one.

Check him out.

In terms of massage, I recommend this lady who does Tui Na

Hopefully a combination of the two will help you work out the adhesions in the muscle tissue and come up with a stretching/strengthening programme to put you back together.

Make sure they start to deal with your whole body problems before any massage on your pelvic area.

The pelvis is usually only in tension because of the tight muscles around it so you should sort them out first.

That's possibly why some people try pelvic massage and get set backs or bad reactions. The cause of the tight pelvic muscles hasn't been addressed.

Spend some time reading up on tight Gluteus Medius, Quadratus Lomborum, Iliopsoas, Piraformis, Occipital Muscles. You should learn a lot about why your body hurts all over and why you've had some of your symptoms.

Buy the 'Visible Body' app on the iphone or ipad.

It's incredible and shows you all the muscles in the body. It's then easy to see where you are having problems and why.

David, Top man nice one.

I'm going to persue this route see where it leads. Beats repeated visits to GP and him saying " its a nerve tension disorder - only route is painkillers and a life of misery"

Thanks very much indeed. I hope the other guys on here try it also. I totally understand where we all get so hooked up on it being a infection, maybe intially it was, maybe it wasn't, but if there is even a tiny shread of hope that this is a "cure or even just a way of relieving the syptoms" it can't be ignored.

Il still keep this thread updated I have a urology & rheumatology appointment this month.

Cheers for the advice - il take any ray of hope at the minute.

All the best
England

Good luck!

Keep reading and educating yourself.

Go to the appointment with your injury timeline. VERY IMPORTANT. This can help them see where it all started.

Absolutey mate - il be attending all specialist's within the next month linked to prostatis - Urology / Rhuematology/ Pain managment / Chiropractor & Physio. Il inform them all of previous history about muscular/nerve issues we discussed.

Hopefully il post back with promising news results and upcoming treatments. As I'm still in the military I have access to Physiotherapy treatment, and get slightly faster appointments, so can post up and hope we all find a good regime of getting ourselves back to normality.....normal, damn I have almost Forgotton how that feels!

Thanks David / thanks guys,

Best wishes
