There really isn’t a standard score. I’m over 60 and my past 5 test scores have been between 0.92 and 1.04. Keep in mind I have had numerous bouts of prostatitis over the past 20 years. In approximately 1996 I had a PSA test in the middle of a terrible bout of prostatitis a day after urinating what looked like straight blood and my score was only a bit over 2.0. Another person could have a score 5 times higher and mean absolutely nothing. The point is don’t focus so much on what the score is but do some reading and research of the test beforehand.
Hmmm ok but then how would they know if they, say, needed to refer me for further tests?
