Post relieving penile pain
are there any ways to relieve penile pain other than hot baths, sitz baths, and showers? I don't know why, but I'm getting increasing penile pain.

I also had bunch of issues - llq abdomen pain, bladder pain n burn, feet burn, penile pain n burn..
Most of the symptoms are resolved after physio sessions but one thing that's still not resolved is my penile pain n burn.. i always feel uncomfortable in the lower end of my penis (not tip) and I feel burn/pain before and while passing urine - really clueless on what the reason is...

I usually get the penile pain before, during, after peeing too. It's more sharp and a higher level of pain at those times. I'm getting less perineum pain since going to phys ther sessions...though since stopping I've had more penile pain...in the middle and almost at the tip mostly. I think I'm going to try liquid turmeric extract or something similar. This whole shifting of pain is complicating how I cope with the pain and relieve it.

A few other herbs I read that are anti-inflamm are:

peppermint
willow bark
grape-seed extract
ginger

An informative web site is

Turmeric is a good idea, but willow bark is like a weak pain killer. Ginger you can just get through diet, I eat a lot through cooking every day.

I usually aim for 4-6 herbs in a formula. I suggest researching carefully and taking your time about choosing them, the source and form is important. Websites are not generally good for finding out about herbs, there is a book called 'body into balance' by Maria Groves you can read online (parts of it), that is really good. She also has some material online that is suitable to learn from if buying a book is too much money (link beneath).

I'd include some supportive tonic herbs in every formula, some key examples for reproductive and overall health/ reducing inflammation etc are: ashwagandha and shatavari. They work on the mind too and should relax you. Another with good all round properties is St. John's wort, and works on the nervous system to reduce stinging, burning, and neuropathic pain. I found the fresh tincture of st johns wort is best, and jarrow or organic india are good companies for tonic herbs. Physiotherapy is a good move, I usually do some yoga every day for my joints etc. If you combine these two things with a really healthy diet, like paleo, your chances of success are higher.
