Ibuprofen helped me when I had pain in my left nut during all of this.

I had epididymitis after my vasectomy....a year later i went to doctor for left testicle pain again...mid doxy is when prostatitis started. It persisted for months and advil helps....current uro says its varacocele. Pain dissapeared for 4 months when i did flagyl then doxy again..was feeling pretty good. Until last week when the ache came back.
Mine bothers me more when i stand for awhile...if i lie dowm it subsides. Maybe it is varacocele. Tighter underwear, advil, warm showers seem to help. Feels similar to epididymitis...just not as painful.

My epididymitis has now affected both of my sides now..

I read that someone used alpha blocker (Flomax) to help with their epididymitis, but I'm a little afraid of the side affects.

What's weird is when I am any shape or form sexually aroused, the inflammation / pain increases.

I have the same on my right side, when aroused it kinda ballons out a bit. I am not sure if its due to infection or just soreness and swelling

Have you guys been for scrotal ultrasound? My left side is varococele and right side is sperm granuloma causing discomfort....they think. Both really acted up post vasectomy.
The discomforts are different...left side is dull ach that radiates into pelvic area...right side feels wierd..cant explain it. Almost itchy pain...both have subsided considerably in last 8 months...
Varococele will bother me for few days here and there.

I've been in for two ultrasounds because I felt a small hard pebble on my testicle... scared the living .... out of me because I thought it was cancer... but doctors told me everything was normal..
Doctor suspected it to be a varococele...

I believe the inflammation / pain is coming from an epididymis cyst combined with varococeles.

I tried Flomax for three days and I believe it did not change much with my inflammation so I decided to discontinue it.
