Just finished a book that I wanted to recommend to anyone else who is in pain and happens to also have an interest in poker. "Painless Poker" by Tommy Angelo - its essentially a book about mindfulness and mediation but illustrated in the context of poker. I have read a lot about mindfulness and tried meditation a few times over the last few years with little results (mainly because i just wasn't into a lot of the hippy talk surrounding the learning material), but this book has cleared a lot of things up for me and I am honestly already seeing positive change from implementing some of the "medding" strategies outlined in the book. It really puts the concept of mindfulness and mediation in terms that a layperson can understand - especially those who happen to have a current or past interest in poker.
