August 12th 1998: exchange of information taken from Internet
Newsgroup sci.med prostate.prostatitis, in 1998 Scott I Zeitlan MD wrote :
Since joining the Institute of Male Urology I have had the opportunity to perform transrectal ultrasound on many patients who have been given the diagnosis of chronic prostatitis. It seems rather remarkable the amount of seminal vesicle pathology that I have seen recently. This is important for two reasons: the first is that these are potentially curable problems and the second is that many patients that we see who are given the diagnosis of chronic prostatitis have other problems that have not been discovered. This belies the importance of a complete urological evaluation.
