Post Fosfomycin, where to get?
Fosfomycin isn't available in my country, says it's an old drug that was discontinued in 2009. Where is it available and how can I obtain it?

I'm in Sweden. That website must be really old because it became unavailable here in 2009.

Very sorry to hear of this Twister. It may still be possible to get fosfomycin in Sweden if you can find a doctor interested in trying it, as it seems to be available all over Europe. It may require your doc to request import by special permission, but it shouldn't be forbidden.

I know in the US, IV fosfomycin is not available except by special permission. When a liver transplant patient contracted a resistant infection (carbapenem-resistant Klebsiella pneumoniae (CRKP) which was resistant to colistin and tigecycline), he almost died before they could get permission and obtain the drug.

Remarkably, the fosfo worked and saved his life. When all else fails... Fosfomycin to the rescue!

I have doubts that my doctor will prescribe me fosfomycin, even as import by special permission. My doctor don't really prescribe antibiotics alot, and are more like "Well if you tried one antibiotic and it didn't work, others wouldn't either". I was lucky I even got prescription of 2 antibiotics. He was first settled with just one. Seems aswell my country have the least information about this disease. (Gave me doxy for 7 days for treating prostatitis...wtf?)

If all fails here to get fosfo, is anyone willing to help me out getting it?

We really need an actual doctor on these forums that we can get counsel from. One that will be willing to help us all out over long distance. There are online hormone therapy clinics that work with men wherever they live. One of them is called IncreaseMyT. They have actual doctors and medical personnel dealing with men all over the world via long distance. Prescriptions are taken care of, lab tests, etc. It's pretty sweet.

If we could get an actual physician here who would work with us, they could stand to make a tidy sum as many doctors out there have no idea how to help us.

Goldpharma has it, just go to their website of the same name. The way they work is you tell them what you want it for and their own MD approves.

Interested to see how you get on, I think terms vary from 3 to 16 weeks from what I read.
