Post What are your ideas on how to do trigger point therapy right
I have this problem with trigger points that I don't know whether I do myself harm or good by pushing on my perineum, buttocks-muscles etc.

Having done it, it hurts afterwards. Which it should according to headache in the pelvis. But it shouldn't hurt too much, according to the book.

But if it is nerve damage, of course it hurts; should I even push there then, and doesn't make that the condition worse long term?

What are your ideas on how to do trigger point therapy right in that area?

A muscle is tight usually be cause it is either providing support for another weak muscle or if is weak it's self.

Removing the need for it to support other muscles or strengthening the weak muscle will allow it to relax. Massaging a relaxed muscle maybe tender but should not cause damage and pain that persists.

That's what I have found out my self.
