Post penile pain - Pain on arousal
Hi All,

Been going through a though flare for a good while with pain in multiple different places. Sometimes I get an aching/burning sensation along the urethra especially at the tip of the penis and also at the base of the penis (deep inside). And sometimes a spasm type feeling at the base of the penis which might be accompanied by urination or defecation. Anyone can suggest a good remedy for this. Quercitin doesn't help, Ashwagandha neither, don't think paracetamol really helps that much.

I've also noticed allot of discomfort and pain in penis and the pelvis during arousal, anyone has an idea why this is hapenning.

i can only tell you that i feel same symptoms , but still didnt figure out why or what, the urologist is saying its all from an overactive bladder, could be the prostate, could also be stds ,so the best solution is just to check everything first .

I used to have this issue but it decreased when my doc prescribed Cymbalta. It's good for chronic pain. These symptoms are all related to CP\CPPS.
Do you experience constipation?

So far I'm responding to Cymbalta very well. I used to have hard stools that was difficult to pass and every morning during my bowel movement I would experience anal pain that would radiate to my perineum, scrotum, penis and bladder. I started taking bromelain 500 mg from Natural Factors 3x a day every after meal a week ago and my stools start to soften now. Bromelain has a strong analgesic and anti inflammatory effect as well so it somehow helps with pain too. I'm on my 6th day of my 21 day broccoli treatment. So all of these contribute to my relief.

CYMBALTA, BROMELAIN 500 MG 3 X A DAY, 21 DAY BROCOLLI TREATMENT

All of these are worth a try and I guarantee you you'll find some relief depending on the degree of you pain.

Great to hear Cymbalta is helping. you experiencing any negative effects to your mood and cognitive abilities? did you look into other meds avilable? I tired the broccoli diet but couldn't handle it as I have some fructose intolerance and IBS. I will give Bromelain a try for sure. do you think is this all muscle related or nerve related

Cymbalta improved my mood actually. The first two weeks I was feeling down and feel better after.
It can be both muscle and nerve related.

I sometimes do only when I eat too much salt and acidic foods like tomato, yoghurt, oranges etc. It's some kind of a bladder irritation. It disappears after a couple of days. I tend to react with salty and acidic foods.
