Same here, but they said that they find weird that that bacteria is the cause. They said that it's quite common to get self-infected by it. I'm still doubting. In the last antibiogram it appeared only sensitive to injected antibiotics. So I sometimes think, if it is that bacteria what is causing this and it is too resistant? But I don't know if it is worthy going to a hospital to get antibiotics injected in the blood, it's scary.

They said that they don't test all in the antibiogram and that maybe any oral antibiotic would work but I don't want to be testing such dangerous drugs for long time. I was 2 months on Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole and nothing changed.

They said the same to me, that they find it weird that the bacteria is the cause. They said normally this bacteria is "nice" and doesn't do any symptoms at all, even if you have it in your urinary tract. I was still given Amoxicillin for it cause they said you shouldn't have it in your UT. I read on various reports and lab studies that the most effective antibiotic for this bacteria is however Nitrofurantoin. (it's most likely less resistant to Nitrofurantoin)
