I am doing good and found the cure to my problem thanks to God. I found a Physical Therapist(Pelvic Floor Specialist) that specializes in pelvic pain and my symptoms are improving with the treatment and I am getting healed as the root of the problem is being addressed which is the pelvic floor muscles. My symptoms were the tip of the penis constant pain and lower abdomen bloated type of feeling along with frequent urination (10 times per day). Not really any huge pain like some people have but you can imagine the tip of your penis constantly feeling a dull pain that is aggravated by ejaculation or defecation nonstop for 18 months. My case was not related to a sexual encounter as many people's are just want to let you know that. From my experience when diagnosed as non-bacterial prostatitis doctors give the same treatment for bacterial and non-bacterial which is ciprofloxacin, levofloxacin, doxycycline etc. to kill the bacteria in the prostate even if no bacteria show up in the dre, this shows majority believe it had to originate from a infection and if that doesn't work then alpha blockers long term to control symptoms are given and ibuprofen or gabapentin which are also for symptom control. After that there is nothing besides encouraging the patient by telling them prostatitis will burn itself out over time and maybe put them on some anti-depressants which will probably do more bad then good long term. I have been through this for 1 year and 6 months, I have tried countless herbal medicines as well with no luck from anything. The pt treatment I am getting is $150 per visit, each session is 1 hour long they take insurance which covers some of the cost. I went to about 3 different doctors, 4 different urologists not a single one even brought up the idea of a pelvic floor specialist which is probably the most effective treatment for non-bacterial prostatitis that is not linked to a sexual encounter with another person(this may be caused by bacteria, maybe it'll work for these people too i really don't know) my symptoms were noted after I ejaculated one day and I got this severe burning at the tip of the penis. I don't blame the doctors or urologists because it is just not a very well known treatment I guess. The specialist I'm going to has also cured other guys with non-bacterial prostatitis I am not the only one. This should be a well known treatment by doctors it could really help some people.
This is the website I used to find the practitioner I was recommended to this website, they are approved by hermanwallace : http://prostatitis.org/redirect.php?lin ... -directory
