Post Nerve pain
curious if anyone has considered nerve pain to be a factor in our symptoms?

My doc is now recommending I try Gabapentin which is a medication for nerve pain.

Of course, CPPS is a neuromuscular issue and nerves def play a key role. Worth a try.

I think most chronic pain conditions end up involving some problem with the nerves. I tried lyrica and amitriptyline for nerve pain no success, but it seems to work for others. Gabapentin binds to the same target as lyrica, they're very similar.

I will give it a try, I am desperate now my pelvic pain has advanced. It's now 24/7 and I cannot sleep, can't work. No answers from the doctors other than throwing every drug in the book at me.

I tried pelvic physio...high cost but zero benefit. Still do daily exercises on my own but it's not helping my pain.
